At Progressive Molding Technologies, it is not uncommon to hold tolerances on injection molded plastic parts to +/- 0.001 inches.  We are able to consistently maintain these tight tolerances by combining state of the art closed loop control with cutting edge processing technology. 

Whether it is plastic over metal, or plastic over plastic, Progressive can meet your needs for insert molded plastic products.  In the picture right, a thermoplastic rubber is molded over a 0.090 inch wide rare earth magnet.

As a certified Heelix™ molder, Progressive can help to develop custom plastic fastening solutions for your products.  Pull-out and push-in force can be tailored to the specific application, yielding a permanent or reusable fastening sytem for joining plastic to plastic, or plastic to metal.  All for a cost much lower than conventional solutions.
